Wuppertal. The screwdriving tool manufacturer, Wera, is calling on all Tools Rebels and fans to turn on their creativity switch and produce an eye-catching video – in line with the motto “Be a Tool Rebel”. Irrespective of whether you submit a spot and win the Rocker Awards with it or simply assess the videos of the others and then go on to win the Voter Awards – everyone can be a winner in this competition. Overall, a total of 10,000 euro will be offered as a reward for the best five spots and the ten most active voters.

    Clips with Tool Rebel fever

Out-of-the-ordinary, surprising and eye-catching clips are needed which will further spread the Tool Rebel fever that Wera has already sparked off. No limits are set on creativity in the making of the film. The guiding principle is that life can be simpler, better and more full of joy when things are ap-proached from a completely different angle. And that is exactly the philoso-phy at Wera: at the company everyone is convinced that a tool has never reached its definitive, final state-of-the-art. On the contrary, the Tool Rebels are always searching for new ideas to improve a tool still further, thus mak-ing jobs carried out by users easier and more pleasant.

“We love innovations, we love design and we love to inspire the world with ‘different’ products and ideas”, is how marketing manager, Detlef Seyfarth, explains the philosophy “which is associated with a great deal of enthusi-asm, passion and innovative spirit and this is the aspect which does not only makes a difference for us but also for our customers”.

And it will pay off to be quick: Wera is making a limited number of tools available to interested “filmmakers” free of charge for production purposes, tools which the producer will be able to keep after publication of the submit-ted clip on the video platform www.spotrocker.de. So in other words: get the camera or smartphone ready, set – and GO!

Videos have to be submitted by 18 August 2017. Further details as well as information on registration for participation in the video competition can be found under https://www.spotrocker.de/kampagnen/wera/be-a-tool-rebel
