Wera offers a wide range of torque tools. Get an overview.
The tools are calibrated using a test adapter with a gauge designated “Sk”. If the gauge S of the socket used differs from the length “Sk”, then the actual release torque changes according to the formula shown.
| = | Gauge | |
| = | Gauge test attachment | |
| = | Scale torque (corrected setting value) | |
| = | Tightening torque with socket | |
| = | Distance from force application point to test axis |
We’re pleased to make our innovative calculation system Torque Advisor for torque wrenches available to you. Please make sure to select the correct option when entering your tool, and ensure that the desired target torque value you enter is permissible for your screw connection, as entering an incorrect value may cause damage. For critical applications, you must always also check that the calculated values are correct using a suitable testing device, if necessary. Our provisions below on liability apply. The relationship between the contracting parties is governed exclusively in accordance with the law applicable in the Federal Republic of Germany to the exclusion of international sales and contract law.
We are always liable without limitation for claims due to damage caused by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents
- in the event of injury to life, limb or health,
- in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty,
- if a guarantee has been given, where agreed, or
- where the provisions of the Product Liability Act apply.
In the event of a breach of material contractual obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for due performance of the contract in the first place and on compliance with which the contractual partner must regularly rely (cardinal obligations), due to minor negligence on our, our legal representatives or vicarious agents’ part, liability is limited to the level of damage foreseeable at the time of conclusion of the contract, the occurrence of which must typically be expected.
All other claims for damages are excluded.
